Santoña is a town located on the eastern coast of the autonomous community of Cantabria in northern Spain. It is situated along the bay of the same name and is positioned approximately 45 kilometres from the regional capital, Santander.
The geography of Santoña is divided into two distinct zones: an urban plain and a mountainous area. The town's eastern boundary is defined by Mount Buciero, while its northern limits include Brusco and the beach of Berria. To the south, the settlement is bordered by the beach of San Martin, and its western limit consists of a fishing harbor and marsh area.
