Laredo is a town located in the autonomous community of Cantabria, Spain. According to the 2008 census conducted by the INE, the municipality has a population of 12,648 inhabitants.
The municipality includes several villages: La Arenosa, El Callejo, Las Cárcobas, Las Casillas, La Pesquera, Tarrueza, and Villante. While Tarrueza and Villante remain distinct, the other five villages have been physically integrated into the town of Laredo.
