Bareyo is a municipality in the autonomous community of Cantabria, in northern Spain. Its municipal capital is the town of Ajo.
According to the 2007 census, Bareyo had a population of 1,702 inhabitants. The municipality is one of the smaller administrative units in Cantabria.
