Sunbilla

Spain

Sunbilla is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It is one of the many small municipalities that make up this region of northern Iberia, which lies between the Pyrenees and the Ebro valley.

As a municipality, Sunbilla covers both the town itself and the surrounding rural territory, the basic unit of local administration in Spain. Navarre is a single-province autonomous community, so the town falls under both provincial and regional governance based in the Navarrese capital, Pamplona.

Sunbilla's setting in northern Navarre places it within the green, mountainous part of the region, in contrast to the drier landscapes of southern Navarre. The area is part of the traditional Basque cultural and linguistic zone of Navarre.
