Nazar is a town and municipality in northern Spain, located in the province and autonomous community of Navarre. It is one of the many small municipalities that make up the rural landscape of this region of northern Iberia.
As a municipality, Nazar covers a defined administrative territory and forms part of the local government structure of Navarre. The region of Navarre is an autonomous community in its own right, situated in the north of the country where the Pyrenees meet the Ebro valley.
Nazar shares its name with several other places in the Spanish-speaking world, but this particular settlement is the one found within Navarre. Like many towns of its size in the region, it is characterised by its small population and its place within the broader cultural and administrative framework of Navarre.
