Murieta is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It lies within the historic region of Navarre, a territory of the Basque cultural area in the western Pyrenees.
The municipality covers an area of 4.51 square kilometres. In 2006 it had a population of 371, giving an average population density of about 70 persons per square kilometre.
