Miranda de Arga is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It lies within the historic Merindad of Olite, in the central part of the region, on the banks of the Arga River, from which it takes the second part of its name.
The settlement grew around a fortified site overlooking the river, and its historic core preserves the layout of a small Navarrese river town, with traditional stone and brick houses and the parish church of San Salvador. The surrounding countryside is agricultural, with cereal fields and vineyards typical of the Navarre lowlands.
Miranda de Arga is connected by road to nearby towns such as Tafalla and Peralta, and to the regional capital, Pamplona, roughly 50 kilometres to the north-east. Its economy has traditionally been based on farming, with some small-scale industry and services.
