Fitero is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It lies within the Ebro Valley region of Navarre, near the border with the neighbouring autonomous community of La Rioja.
The town is best known for the Monastery of Santa María la Real de Fitero, a Cistercian foundation dating from the 12th century. The monastery and its surrounding complex are among the principal historic monuments of Navarre.
Fitero also gives its name to the Baños de Fitero, a thermal spa area located a short distance from the town, whose mineral springs have been used for bathing and therapeutic purposes.
