Espronceda is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It is one of the many small municipalities that make up the rural landscape of this region of northern Iberia.
Navarre is an autonomous community in northern Spain, bordered by France to the north and by the Spanish regions of Aragon, La Rioja, and the Basque Country. The region is known for its varied terrain, which ranges from the Pyrenees in the north to the Ebro valley in the south.
Espronceda should not be confused with the Spanish poet José de Espronceda, after whom the town is not named; the municipality is a distinct place with its own local administration within Navarre.
