Berbinzana is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It is one of the many small municipalities that make up this region of northern Spain, which lies between the Pyrenees and the Ebro valley.
As a municipality, Berbinzana covers both the town itself and the surrounding rural territory, which is administered by a local council. Navarre is a single-province autonomous community, so the town belongs to both the provincial and regional level of administration simultaneously.
Berbinzana is located in the central part of Navarre, in the Ebro basin, an area characterised by a continental Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cold winters. The surrounding landscape is largely agricultural, with cereal crops and vineyards typical of the region. The town lies near the Arga river, a tributary of the Ebro, which has historically supported farming in the area. Like many settlements in Navarre, it retains a compact historic core with traditional stone and brick buildings, and its economy has long been based on agriculture. Its population is small, in keeping with the rural character of much of inland Navarre.
