Ayegui (Basque: Aiegi) is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It is located in the Estella Oriental area of Navarre, near the town of Estella-Lizarra.
The municipality is closely associated with the Monastery of Irache, a historic Benedictine foundation whose origins are traditionally traced to the 10th century. The monastery complex, which includes a Romanesque church and cloister, stands within Ayegui's municipal boundaries and is one of the area's principal heritage sites.
Ayegui also lies on the French Way (Camino Francés), the most travelled branch of the Camino de Santiago, and the monastery is known among pilgrims for its wine fountain, installed in 1991. The town's economy has historically been tied to agriculture and viticulture within the Navarre wine region.
