Arantza is a town and municipality in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. It is one of the many small municipalities that make up the rural interior of Navarre, a region of Spain that lies along the western Pyrenees and shares a border with France.
As a municipality, Arantza covers both the town itself and the surrounding area, and it forms part of the local administrative structure of Navarre. Navarre is an autonomous community with its own institutions of self-government, and its municipalities, including Arantza, sit within that framework.
The town is located in northern Spain, in the part of Navarre that is characterised by a mountainous, green landscape typical of the Pyrenean foothills. Like other settlements in this part of Navarre, it is a small community within a predominantly rural setting.
