Ollauri

Spain

Ollauri is a village and municipality in the northwest of the province and autonomous community of La Rioja, Spain. It lies in the Ebro Valley region of northern Spain, within the well-known Rioja wine-producing area.

The municipality covers a small area of just 2.6 square kilometres (about 1.0 square mile), making it one of the more compact municipalities in La Rioja. As of 2011, its population stood at 311 people, reflecting the modest size typical of many rural villages in the region.

Like much of La Rioja, Ollauri is surrounded by a landscape shaped by wine growing, and the village sits close to other small municipalities in the northwest of the province. Its small territory and low population mean it retains the character of a quiet rural settlement rather than a large urban centre.
