Bobadilla

Spain

Bobadilla is a municipality in the Province of La Rioja, Spain. It is one of the small settlements that make up the autonomous community of La Rioja in northern Spain, a region best known for its wine production along the Ebro valley.

The municipality holds the administrative status of a Spanish municipio, the basic local government unit that in rural La Rioja typically comprises a village and its surrounding land and may include smaller dependent settlements. Like other municipalities in the province, it is governed by a local council and falls within the wider provincial and regional administrative structures of La Rioja.

Bobadilla should not be confused with other places bearing the same name, including the district of Bobadilla in Málaga and the Bobadilla railway station in Andalusia. The La Rioja municipality is a distinct entity located in the north of Spain rather than in the southern region of Andalusia.
