Hirschfeld is a municipality in the district of Zwickau, in the German state of Saxony. It is located in the western part of Saxony, within the Zwickau district, a region in the south of the state near the border with Thuringia.
As a municipality, Hirschfeld is one of the smaller administrative units of the Zwickau district, which is centred on the city of Zwickau. The district forms part of the broader Saxon industrial and cultural landscape in the south-west of the state.
