Alfeld is a municipality in the district of Nürnberger Land, in the German state of Bavaria. It is a small community, with a population of around 1,100 inhabitants as of 2013.
The town is known for its traditional Kermesse, a fair held annually at the end of August. This event is a notable local celebration in the municipality.
