Xerovounos is an abandoned village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus, situated west of Karavostasi. The settlement is now uninhabited and located in territory under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus.
Between 1958 and 1975, the village was known by the Turkish name Kurutepe. The village's status as an abandoned settlement reflects the broader divisions and population movements that have affected Cyprus since the mid-20th century.
