Cuba

Florida is a municipality and city located in Camagüey Province in central Cuba, situated approximately 40 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital of Camagüey along the Carretera Central highway. The city was established in 1907, with the municipality formally created in 1924. Its name is the Spanish word for "Land of flowers."

Florida ranks as the third-largest municipality by area within Camagüey Province. While relatively modest in prominence compared to other Cuban cities, it serves as an administrative and local commercial center for the surrounding region.
