La Palma

Cuba

La Palma is a municipality and town in Pinar del Río Province in western Cuba. Located in the northern part of the province, it sits on the coast of the Straits of Florida, positioned north of Consolación del Sur and northeast of Viñales.

As a coastal settlement in this region, La Palma occupies a strategic location on the strait separating Cuba from Florida. The town functions as both a local administrative center and a coastal community within one of Cuba's traditionally agricultural provinces, known for tobacco production and rural landscapes.
