Villeta is a municipality and town located in Cundinamarca Department in Colombia, situated in Gualivá Province approximately 84 kilometres northwest of Bogotá. The name "Villeta" means "little village" in Spanish. The municipality is positioned at an altitude of 850 metres in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.
Villeta is bordered by several neighboring municipalities: Quebradanegra and Nimaima to the north, Nocaima and Sasaima to the east, Albán and Vianí to the south, and Guaduas to the west. As the capital of Gualivá Province, it serves as a regional administrative center for the surrounding area.
