Olaya is a town and municipality located in the western region of the Department of Antioquia in Colombia. The municipality sits at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level in this region of northwestern South America.
Olaya is bordered by several neighboring municipalities: Liborina to the north, Belmira and Sopetrán to the east, Sopetrán again to the south, and Santa Fe de Antioquia to the west. Its position in western Antioquia places it within a region characterized by mountainous terrain and smaller municipalities that make up the department's broader geography.
