Ditang is a district of Chongqing, a directly administered municipality in southwestern China. It lies within the Chongqing metropolitan area, on the city's western side, and functions as one of the urban districts that make up the municipality's built-up core.
Like other districts of Chongqing, Ditang forms part of a large, densely populated urban region centred on the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. Chongqing as a whole is one of China's four municipalities under direct central administration, alongside Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin.
Detailed, well-established information about Ditang specifically is limited, and no further verified particulars about its history, administration or landmarks are available here.
