Dongsha, also known as Pratas Island or the Tungsha Islands, is a coral island in the northern part of the South China Sea. It is administered as part of Cijin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and lies about 170 nautical miles southeast of Hong Kong.
The island covers roughly 240 hectares, including 64 hectares of lagoon, making it the largest of the South China Sea Islands. It is the site of Dongsha Airport.
