Qianwei is a county in the central part of Sichuan Province, China, under the administration of Leshan City. It should not be confused with places of similar name elsewhere in the country.
As a county-level administrative division, Qianwei forms part of the Leshan municipal jurisdiction in Sichuan's central region. The available reference material identifies it specifically as a county rather than a city, and locates it within Sichuan Province.
Beyond its administrative status and location, little verifiable detail is available in the source material, so no further characteristics can be stated with confidence.
