Liyang is a county-level city in the People's Republic of China, administered by the prefecture-level city of Changzhou in Jiangsu province. It lies in the southern part of the province, within the Yangtze River Delta region.
The city borders several other prefecture-level divisions: Wuxi to the east, Xuancheng in Anhui province to the south, and Nanjing to the west. This places Liyang at the junction of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, near the southern edge of the Jiangsu plain.
In 2024, Liyang had a population of 806,900. As a county-level city, it forms part of Changzhou's administrative jurisdiction.
