Qingshuihe is a county-level division in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, North China. It is administered by Hohhot, the regional capital, as one of the counties under that prefecture-level city. The subject is properly Qingshuihe County rather than any other place sharing the name.
The county lies in the southern part of Hohhot's jurisdiction, bordering Shanxi province to the south and east. It is the southernmost county-level division of the regional capital, which lies more than 100 kilometres (62 mi) to the north.
Its position on the boundary between Inner Mongolia and Shanxi is the county's defining geographic characteristic, placing it at the southern edge of the Hohhot administrative area.
