Liyuan is a town in the northwestern part of Tongzhou District, Beijing, China. It lies within the Beijing municipality rather than the central urban core, positioned in the district's northwest and bordering several other local divisions.
To the north, Liyuan shares a border with the Yangzhuang and Jiukeshu Subdistricts, and to the northeast with Linheli Subdistrict. Zhangjiawan Town lies to its east, Wenjing Subdistrict to its south, and Heizhuanghu Township to its west.
As of 2020, Liyuan had a total population of 285,445. The town is one of the more populous local units in Tongzhou District, reflecting the broader growth of the district on Beijing's eastern side.
