Chengbei is one of the four districts of Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province in northwest China. It is a district of a prefecture-level city, meaning it forms part of the administrative structure of Xining rather than being an independent city.
As its name indicates, Chengbei covers part of the northern portion of Xining. The district is one of four that together make up the urban core of the provincial capital.
