Jianli is a county-level city in southern Hubei Province, China. It lies on the northern, or left, bank of the Yangtze River, and it borders Hunan Province to the south. The city is under the administration of Jingzhou City.
Its position on the Yangtze places it within the middle reaches of the river as it flows through the province toward the Hunan border. As a county-level city, Jianli forms part of Jingzhou's administrative jurisdiction in southern Hubei.
