Liunan is a district of Liuzhou, a city in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China. It is one of four districts that make up Liuzhou's urban core, alongside the city's other central districts.
Liuzhou itself lies on the Liu River in north-central Guangxi, and Liunan forms part of the built-up area on the city's south bank. As a district rather than a separate city, Liunan functions as an administrative subdivision of Liuzhou, with its own local government handling urban services for its residents.
Guangxi is a Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Liuzhou is one of its major industrial cities, known nationally for manufacturing. Liunan shares in that urban and industrial character as one of the city's central districts.
