Suzhou is a district of the city of Jiuquan, in Gansu Province, People's Republic of China. It should not be confused with the better-known Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. As a district, it forms part of Jiuquan's administrative structure and serves as the seat of Jiuquan's administration.
The area was an important city in its own right before its present status as a district. Its historical significance predates its incorporation into the modern administrative framework of Jiuquan.
