Dongsheng is a town in southern Hubei province, China. It lies about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south of the Yangtze River and is administered by the city of Shishou, which is located roughly 10 km (6.2 mi) to the west. The border with Hunan province lies about 10 km (6.2 mi) to the south.
As of 2011, the town had 3 residential communities and 33 villages under its administration.
