Dengyue

China

Dengyue is a city in Hubei province, China. It is located in the central part of the country, within the middle reaches of the Yangtze River basin, a region characterized by a humid subtropical climate and a landscape of plains, rivers, and low hills.

Like many settlements in Hubei, Dengyue lies in an area with a long history of human habitation and agriculture. The province as a whole is one of China's major producers of rice, cotton, and freshwater fish, and the surrounding region around Dengyue reflects this agricultural base.

Specific details about Dengyue's administrative status, population, and notable landmarks are not well documented in widely available English-language sources. It should not be confused with similarly named places elsewhere in China, such as Tengyue (Tengchong) in Yunnan province.
