Pingquan is a county-level city in northeastern Hebei province, China. It lies near the province's border with Liaoning to the east.
The city covers an area of 3,297 square kilometres (1,273 square miles) and has a population of about 400,000. It functions as a centre of trade and business for the surrounding area.
