Nanzhao is a town in Zhao'an County, in the southern part of Fujian province, China. It is one of the administrative divisions of Zhao'an County, which lies in Fujian's far south, near the border with Guangdong province.
The town shares its name with the historic Nanzhao kingdom of Yunnan, but it is a distinct place and is not connected to that kingdom. It is a small settlement within Zhao'an County rather than a major city.
Detailed information about Nanzhao's history, population, and local features is limited in readily available sources, so only its basic status as a town in Zhao'an County, southern Fujian, can be stated with confidence.
