Lantian is a town in Fujian province, China. It is located in the southern part of the province, within the administrative area of Zhangzhou. The settlement lies in a mountainous inland region rather than on the coast, and it serves as a local administrative and market centre for the surrounding rural area.
Like much of inland Fujian, the area around Lantian is characterised by hilly terrain and a subtropical climate, with warm, humid summers and mild winters. The town and its neighbouring villages are connected to the wider region by road, linking it to larger urban centres in Zhangzhou and beyond.
