Guangping is a county in southern Hebei province, China, under the administration of Handan City. Its name is written 广平县 in simplified Chinese and 廣平縣 in traditional characters, with the pinyin Guǎngpíng Xiàn; the name is often rendered as "broad flatness."
The county covers an area of about 320 square kilometres. As of 2020, it had a population of 264,025. It lies in the southern part of Hebei, a province of northern China.
Note that Guangping should not be confused with places of the same or similar name elsewhere in China, including in Fujian. The Guangping described here is a county-level administrative division of Handan City in Hebei, and the details above refer specifically to that entity.
