Songshu is a city in Jilin Province, in northeastern China. Jilin lies in the country's northeast, bordering North Korea and Russia, and forms part of the region historically known as Manchuria. The province's cities include the capital Changchun and the industrial centre Jilin City.
Beyond its location within Jilin, well-established details about Songshu specifically are limited. It should not be confused with the Book of Song (Songshu), one of the Twenty-Four Histories of China, which is an unrelated historical text covering the Liu Song dynasty from 420 to 479 and written by Shen Yue in 492–493.
