Pingtai is a town in Taobei District, Baicheng, in northwestern Jilin province, People's Republic of China. It lies more than 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of downtown Baicheng.
Administratively, the town is divided into one residential community and 14 villages, a structure recorded as of 2011. It falls under the jurisdiction of Taobei District, which forms part of the prefecture-level city of Baicheng.
