Meili

China

Meili is a deity in Norse mythology identified as the son of Odin and Jörð and the brother of Thor. The figure appears in two primary historical texts: the Poetic Edda, which was compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson.

In the nafnaþulur, a section at the end of the Prose Edda that may be a later addition, Meili is specifically named as a son of Odin. Aside from these genealogical associations and mentions within the two primary sources, no additional information regarding his characteristics or roles is provided.
