Daocheng

Daocheng County, also known as Dapba in Tibetan, is a county located in the western part of Sichuan Province, China. Situated within the eastern Hengduan Mountains, it falls under the administration of the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

The region is characterized by its high-altitude geography and cultural landscape. The county spans approximately 174 kilometers in north-south extent and 63 kilometers in east-west width, with elevations ranging from 2,000 to 6,032 meters. It maintains an overwhelmingly Tibetan population.
