Lianhua County is a county-level division in the west of Jiangxi province, China. It forms the southernmost county-level division of the prefecture-level city of Pingxiang, which administers it.
The county lies in western Jiangxi, and its western edge borders Hunan province. This position places it at the boundary between Jiangxi and Hunan, in the inland hill country of southeastern China.
Lianhua is a county rather than a city proper, and it is distinct from other places in China that share the name Lianhua, including Lianhua County in Guangdong and the Lianhua district of Shenzhen. Its administrative status under Pingxiang is its main defining feature within Jiangxi's local government structure.
