Lubei is a district of Tangshan, a city in Hebei Province in northern China. It is one of the administrative divisions that make up the Tangshan urban area, situated in the region between Beijing and the Bohai coast.
According to the 2010 census, Lubei had a population of 743,504. As a district rather than an independent city, it forms part of Tangshan's municipal structure and shares in the wider area's identity as a major industrial centre of Hebei.
