Donghui

China

Donghui is a town in Zhejiang Province, in eastern China. It lies within the administrative area of a county-level city in the province's coastal region, in the Yangtze River Delta area south of Shanghai and Hangzhou.

Zhejiang is one of China's smaller but more densely populated provinces, and its settlements are typically connected by a dense road and rail network linking them to major regional hubs such as Hangzhou and Ningbo. Donghui shares in this broader regional setting, with a humid subtropical climate of hot, wet summers and mild winters.

Reliable, specific information about Donghui itself is limited; it is a minor settlement rather than a major city, and it should not be confused with similarly named places elsewhere, including the ancient Korean chiefdom of Dongye (Eastern Ye), which was located on the Korean peninsula and has no connection to this Zhejiang locality.
