Dayun

China

Dayun is a town in Zhejiang Province, China. It is located in the eastern coastal region of the country, within the Yangtze River Delta area that forms one of China's most developed and densely populated zones.

Like many settlements in Zhejiang, Dayun sits in a landscape of low hills, rivers and farmland, in a province known for its humid subtropical climate and its long history of trade and handicraft production. The surrounding region is well connected by road and rail to major cities such as Hangzhou and Ningbo.

Dayun is a small administrative unit rather than a major urban centre, and it should not be confused with other places or organisations that share its name. Detailed published information about the town itself is limited, so its population, founding date and specific local industries are not firmly documented in widely available sources.
