Tongcheng is a county-level city in the southwest of Anhui province, China. It is under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Anqing. It was formerly a county before its current status as a county-level city.
Tongcheng is noted for the Tongcheng School, one of the influential Neo-Confucian schools during the Qing era.
