Dengta is a city in east-central Liaoning province in Northeast China. It lies between Liaoyang, the city that oversees it, and Shenyang, the provincial capital.
Liaoyang is located 22 kilometers (14 mi) to the southwest of Dengta. Shenyang lies to the northeast at nearly double that distance.
