Kaélé is a town located in the Far North Province of Cameroon, situated on the Diamaré Plain at coordinates 10°6′00″N 14°27′00″E. It serves as the capital of the Mayo Kani division and is positioned near the border with Chad, approximately 104 kilometers south of the city of Maroua.
The town has a population of roughly 30,600 residents. It features an airstrip and is accessible by road. Additionally, the local economy includes industrial activity, such as a cottonseed oil mill operated by the company Diamaor.
