Zongo is a city in Sud-Ubangi Province in the northwestern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It lies on the south bank of the Ubangi River, directly across from Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic.
The city is linked to Bangui by ferry, a crossing that connects the two banks of the river. Zongo has declined in importance as a transport hub since much traffic in the region moved east in the late 1980s.
