Buckingham is a former town in the Outaouais region of western Quebec, Canada. On January 1, 2002, it was amalgamated into the city of Gatineau as part of a municipal merger that combined five former municipalities: Masson-Angers, Buckingham, Hull, Aylmer, and Gatineau. The former Buckingham sector now represents a distinct area within the larger consolidated city.
According to the 2021 Census, the Buckingham sector had a population of 12,795 residents. Today, the area remains identifiable as a neighborhood within Gatineau rather than as an independent municipality.
